Ken Torgler

Ken has worked in the banking industry his entire career as a bank regulator that transitioned into commercial credit as a community banker in 2018. The transition into commercial banking has been fulfilling allowing him to assist small businesses, business owners, and company employees.  Helping small businesses become more successful and profitable provides a strong sense of accomplishment.  A solid community banking relationship can be a key strength to a company’s business strategy.  Almost the entire work life was spent in the Kansas City market while residing in Overland Park, Kansas.  Ken was Director of Examinations at the Office of the State Bank Commissioner, supervising the entire bank regulatory staff and eight offices across the state.  He is a graduate of Pittsburg State University, home of the Gorillas.  Other Pitt State graduates include his wife Nancy and daughter Kara, who is a registered nurse in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Currently attending Pitt State is youngest daughter Dani seeking a degree in Corporate Human Resources.  When not working, Ken places a strong emphasis on family, church life, and hobbies such as hanging out at the lake, sporting events, movies, reading, and tinkering on small projects around the house.
