“My wife and I started a small business with one employee in 1991 and were introduced to John Doull at Bank of Blue Valley. John made a strong impression by coming on-site to learn about our business and providing guidance well beyond what we expected as a small company.

When John informed me he was leaving Bank of Blue Valley to start Cornerstone Bank, I did not hesitate to move our accounts, because I viewed our relationship as integral to our growth from one employee to more than twenty-five.

I valued that relationship so much that I became a shareholder, and John later invited me to serve on Cornerstone’s Board of Directors.
