After nearly a decade of working together on Dale’s projects, he came to us to support an exciting new development: the renovation of an old storage warehouse in Midtown KC that was converted into an 18 bedroom boutique hotel. Read to learn why Dale leans on Cornerstone Bank to support his projects time and time again.
Tell me a little bit about yourself and your relationship with Cornerstone Bank.
“My name is Dale Scott and I’ve worked with Cornerstone for probably the last eight or nine years. I am a real estate investor and they finance most of my projects here in Kansas City.”
Tell me about the current project that you’re working on.
“It’s called the Cherry Warehouse Hotel–and it’s an 18-room boutique hotel in Midtown Kansas City. Cornerstone has been with me since the beginning of this. It was a 1930s storage warehouse that we’ve converted into a boutique hotel.”
What makes working with Cornerstone Bank so special?
“It’s a family business! I think that’s the best way to sum it up. They take care of their customers, they understand a small investor like myself, and they are always willing to work with me and help me figure things out. Sometimes in real estate, you bite off more than you can chew, sometimes things go over budget. They are always very understanding and they have always been there with me–holding my hand through all of these projects.”
